Our Program
Raising Sheep Responsibly
At C Bars Heritage, everything we do starts with the land.
We practice regenerative agriculture through rotational grazing, moving our sheep frequently to allow pastures to rest, recover, and rebuild. This process improves soil health, strengthens forage, and naturally supports the overall health of the animals. As manure returns to the ground and nutrients cycle back through the soil the land becomes more productive over time.
We believe that when you care for the soil properly, everything above it benefits-because healthy soil truly does produce healthy sheep.
Our goal is to work with nature creating a system where the land, animals, and management all support one another.

Built for the Land
Royal White Dorper
Our flock is developed under the tough, unpredictable conditions of West Texas, where only the most adaptable animals succeed.
We raise Royal White Dorper hair sheep, known for their hardiness productivity and profitability. These sheep combine the carcass traits of Dorper with hardiness, parasite resistance and maternal instincts of the t. Croix - resulting in animals that are efficient, resilient, and well-suited for pasture-based systems.
We select sheep that can thrive on grass alone, maintain good condition, raise strong lambs unassisted, and require minimal intervention. Through careful culling and selection, we are building a flock that is hardy, resilient, and well-suited to it's environment.
Our sheep are raised in a low-stress setting, handled with intention, and expected to perform with both strength and instinct. The result is a flock designed not just to survive, but to consistently produce quality lamb and contribute to a sustainable operation.
